About Me
Jean-Didier Aïssy was born in 1967 in Bénin, Africa from where he traveled to Paris and spent his first 33 years. He lives in Barcelona and has also lived in other countries such as Canada; He has never missed an opportunity to travel and know the world.
With a background in economics and business and a great passion for letters, he spent time as an intern correcting the style of French written texts and prepared to take full advantage of his voice, which ended up being his vocation and his current profession. His skills lead him to devote himself initially to further editing and translation for several first class translation agencies, as well as writing articles for press publications and sports websites. He entered editorial management through writing in some of the publications with which he subsequently established a long-term professional relationship.
Chance led him to discover the world of speech and dubbing, and in a very short time that became his vocation and profession. In the last 15 years he has made more than 3000 voiceovers and over 500 dubbings, while more than 250 television ads carry his voice. As an announcer, from Europe, the United States, South America, Africa or Asia, numerous international recording studios use his voice for French productions. His skills as a dubbing actor has allowed him to occupy the skin and the voice of characters played by actors such as Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Cuba Gooding, Jr. and many more.
He is known for his involvement with his projects and clients, and defines himself as an accessible and reliable partner able to tackle any challenge.
Jean-Didier loves his work.
